“While it may seem small, the ripple effects of small things is extraordinary.” – Matt Bevin
STAY HYDRATED

- Cut out all colorful, sweet, aspartame beverages
- Limit your hydration choices to water, tea (no added sugars), plain coffee (no fraps/ caps/lattes/sugar/syrup etc.) and water 🙂
- If you need the caffeine boost – consider adding 20 minutes of cardio to your morning for an all-day energy boost
GET RID OF THE DAIRY
- Look out for dairy/casein in the ingredients of food you consume (Read ALL ingredients of food consumed)
- At minimum, a bull calf gains 71-79 pounds per month by consuming its mother’s milk. There is a significant amount of protein and growth hormones produced in the mothers milk, those growth hormones when consumed by humans, go right into creating new cells (fat/cancer cells) upon consumption. Stop feeding your cancer!
- Great dairy/casein free alternatives include but are not limited to:
- Silk Almond milk/ Nut milk (cashew/almond blend)
- Daiya Shredded Cheeses (best melted)
- Amy’s frozen foods – lots of vegan options that are delicious!
SIMPLIFY YOUR PALLET

- Pay attention to how may ingredients are listed in processed items.
- Avoid added flavors, food colors, sugars
- Avoid foods with ingredients that you can’t pronounce
DECREASE MEAT CONSUMPTION

- Ideally, meat should be completely removed from the diet but until then, decrease consumption of all animal based protein.
- These animal food sources are highly toxic for our bodies and despite the lovely farm pictures and smiling animals on the packaging are in devastating, inhumane conditions.
- Many of these animals are genetically engineered and pumped with harmful antibiotics and growth hormones which don’t disappear in the package/cooking process.
GET ACTIVE!
- Get in 20 minutes of cardio a day (doing this in the morning will give you a boost throughout the day).
- Spend time stretching in the mornings; stretching is essential for staying loose and working out any tightened muscles from a nights slumber.
- Take the steps! If you have an option, try taking the steps to give yourself an extra opportunity for activity; especially if you work in a environment that has you sitting most of the day.
